Dr. Mark Bamberger, Esq. (Ph.D., J.D.)
Background
Dr. Bamberger’s academic experience has taken him from Ohio (B.A. from Miami University) to Kansas (M,S. from Wichita State University), upstate New York (post-graduate research at SUNY-Binghamton), and back to Ohio again (Ph.D. from The Union Institute and a J.D. from Capital University Law School).
Mark began his working career as a geologist in 1989. He worked for state regulatory agencies and private environmental consulting firms for the next 18 years in increasingly senior positions. He headed research and educational programs in government and academia and designed, supervised, and administered high budget consulting, governmental, and other programs. This environmental experience included compliance auditing and enforcement, mediation, and arbitration as a state regulatory representative.
Law Practice
In law, Mark completed an internship with the Ohio EPA, a legal fellowship with the Ohio Environmental Council, and then began his consulting legal practice in 2007. He started TMBC in 2009 and works in general practice, along with focusing on bankruptcy and foreclosure defense, criminal defense, civil litigation (taking both plaintiff and defendant case), and environmental law (including animal, energy, utility, natural resource, land use, and governmental law, along with litigation relative to those areas). Mark also practices in the fields of domestic relations and corporate law.
Life
Mark is a doting father of three daughters, two dogs, and one cat and is married to a beautiful southern belle from North Carolina. He enjoys motorcycling, vegetable gardening, golf, softball, flag football, political and philosophical debate, and American presidential history. He relishes good food, good wine, and good debate. Mark’s slightly masochistic mantra is “…the best compliment for a job well done is more work”.
